A Halloween Cabaret

Radium Girls

In 1926, radium was a miracle cure, Madame Curie an international celebrity, and luminous watches the latest rage—until the girls who painted them began to fall ill with a mysterious disease. Inspired by a true story, Radium Girls traces the efforts of Grace Fryer, a dial painter, as she fights for her day in court. Auditions are open to all students and will be held on 9/16. The Witch's Princess

The queen is dead. The kingdom is cursed. And the only way to lift the curse is to slay the witch. When Princess Alessandra’s father the king offers her hand in marriage to the knight who can slay the evil bog witch and lift the curse, there’s only one thing for the princess to do: Sneak out of the castle and kill the witch herself to avoid marriage. But she’s not dumb and she’s not going alone, because she’s first assembling a crack crew of the deadliest monsters in myth and legend to help. But she discovers the monsters aren’t what they seem, and neither is the witch, or the curse, or the kingdom. A rollicking and wild quest of magic and adventure. Presented by the Advanced Theatre Class.

A Night of One-Acts
Theatre 1 classes will each work within their classes towards producing a one-act play. Both plays will be presented one night only for family and friends.

Original Works Festival
Students, mostly through AICE Drama and Theatre 2 classes, will demonstrate their own creativity, understanding of theatre and topics that they care about by writing and producing their own short plays for this festival.

The SpongeBob Musical
Based on the series by Stephen Hillenburg

Musical Production Conceived by Tina Landau
When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world!
